Hacienda La Esmeralda is a specialty coffee producing company owned by the Peterson Family and located in the Highlands of Boquete, South-West region of the Republic of Panama. Hacienda La Esmeralda is home to the famous award-winning Esmeralda Geisha Coffee.

Nurtured in the volcanic soils of western Panama, and sprinkled with the mists of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, Esmeralda is the crown jewel of Panama coffee. At Esmeralda we start by carefully instructing those who hand pick the fruit, to only pick the completely ripe, red fruits. They are paid premium for this service. Since we strive for absolute consistency and excellence in preparation, harvested coffee is always carefully inspected for defects or green beans. We devote enormous time to the details and fine touches that have always distinguished Hacienda La Esmeralda from other coffee producers in the world.
