Lot V-13: Don Mariano Catuai

This Catuai Washed was harvested on February 3, 2022 from Cafetalera Los Gonzalez farm in Horqueta, Boquete. This is a very high altitude farm that starts at 1,600 masl and reaches 1,750 masl at its highest point. The coffee cherries were harvested at their absolute rippest. After harvest, the coffee was taken to a washing mill were it was washed processed. It was then slow dried for 22 days. After this the coffee, rested for 3 months before it was hulled.

This catuai washed has notes of chocolate, black tea and tropical fruits such as mango, papaya and lychee. It is a very delicate and enjoyable catuai. Cafetalera Los Gonzalez is a family owned small farm that has been operating for over 100 years.
