Hacienda La Esmeralda is a multiple award winning coffee farm in Boquete, Republic of Panama ran by the Peterson Family. Hacienda La Esmeralda is known for the rediscovery of Geisha Coffee and is highly regarded as one of the best coffee producers in the world. At Hacienda La Esmeralda, we pay particular focus to meticulous lot separation, allowing us to develop a more nuanced understanding of the different microclimates in which Geisha thrives best.

During the Best of Panama 2017 (Year of our 50th Anniversary), Hacienda La Esmeralda was named Best Coffee Producer of the Year for being the producer with the highest amount of winning lots in different categories of the competition. We also won 1st Place in Geisha Naturals, 5th Place in Geisha Washed and 3rd Place in Washed Traditionals. All of our 5 lots that were submitted to the competition will be available for bidding in the Best of Panama Auction on July 18th.
