Coffee details

説明 :

Opening beautifully with jasmine, bergamot, peach, red & black cherries, honey & tropical fruits in the aromatics.

The hot beverage is enriched with complex notes of white flowers, roses, light jasmine & vanilla combined with passion fruit. As it cooled showcases lots... lots... lots of strawberry, berries, purple fruits, red oranges & apples, mango, bergamot, peach, raisins, dried figs, lemon tea, black cherry, green & black tea, orange, baker's chocolate, pineapple, marzipan, lime, lemon, red cherry, lemon grass, loquat, watermelon & mangosteen.

It has a clean & juicy aftertaste. Geisha... geisha... geisha. Lemongrass, orange, stone fruits, pineapple, mango, white lemon, jasmine, tamarind, grapes & red fruits with a spicy underlayer. Juicier as it cools. Delicious.

Sparkling, floral, citric, herbal, fruit-like high acidity. Lime, apples, red fruits, kiwi, loquat, grapefruit, chamomile are all in the blend of flavors attached to the bright classic natural geisha acidity.

Medium body. Well structured. Milky & medium dark chocolate notes giving depth to the mouthfeel. Marzipan & yogurt play their part in the structure. Bergamot, black tea, roasted almonds & candy nicely holding it all together.

Yummy sweetness. Sweet, sweet & sweetens more as it cools. Honey, caramel, brown sugar, candy, toffee & sugarcane... all come to the symphony... Mouth-watering.

Well balanced with intense bergamot in the primary roll. Fruits, plums, jasmine, cranberry, red cherry & hibiscus carry on in the integration.

Good overall behavior. Intense bergamot acidity & flavor all the way. Clean, classic natural process. Juicy... even juicier as it cools. Grapes jumped as it matured. Yummy, creamy, sweet & bright.

Producer Story:

The history of Lerida started with love for family, a paradise and coffee. Nowadays it continues with love in the same terms. Love that gave fruits through Julia and Tollef Monniche in Boquete in their period and continues today through the hearts and hands of Maria Antonella Amoruso, Juan Carlos Areces & their family.

Nevertheless, throughout its existence it has played a capital role in the history of Panama, being the first farm to export coffee to Germany in 1929. Thus, leading the way for a premature specialty coffee industry for this blessed, humble and small country. Yes... those first coffee beans were very special in the cup (check out the link for more information). Today is no less with the Panama Geisha varietal that we cherish too.

What started back then as a family coffee consumption for the Monniches soon turned to a family business. Today is no different for Maria and Juan Carlos.
They love the panamanian specialty coffee industry and what has turned out to be with the added main role of the Panama Geisha. They now follow the lead that it plays for the whole Panama coffee industry. As maturing specialty coffee producers, they are being impacted not only by their family and the industry but also by all the families that together gravitate surrounded by the same beautiful forests, birds and exotic coffee history that enriches Lerida's beautiful cup.
